We are absolutely thrilled to announce that 863 (Thurston) Squadron has won the Wing Athletics! Our cadets have shown exceptional talent, determination, and team spirit, bringing home a fantastic victory that they can all be proud of. This incredible achievement is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and training that our cadets have committed themselves to over the past few months.

A massive thank you goes out to all our NCOs and staff, whose unwavering support, guidance, and encouragement have been the backbone of this success. But we must give special recognition to SGT O’Flynn, IC SNCO, and CPL Scarbro, 2IC, for their outstanding commitment, drive, and meticulous organisation. Since April, they have expertly utilised and planned training sessions at Thurston College, ensuring that our cadets had the best preparation possible. Their dedication has truly shone through, and this victory is as much theirs as it is the cadets’.

And finally, a massive 863 well done to each and every participant – whether you placed or simply took part, you are all winners in our eyes. Your determination, resilience, and team spirit are what make 863 (Thurston) Squadron truly exceptional.

Congratulations once again to our amazing cadets and a heartfelt thank you to every member of our team who made this achievement possible. You have all made 863 (Thurston) Squadron incredibly proud!
