Standing as staff in front of both new and old cadets, I couldn’t help but feel a deep sense of pride. The number of young people with so much potential and drive, showing up night after night, encouraging and supporting one another, was truly heartening.
I turned to my colleagues and said, “Doesn’t it look good?” We all nodded in agreement.
It was a simple yet profound moment that I wanted to share with all of you. It serves as a reminder that the rewards for serving and guiding our cadets often come in the most unexpected, yet meaningful, moments.
