25m Range Honington

Cadets from across Norfolk and Suffolk gathered at RAF Honington for a fantastic range day, where they had the opportunity to refresh their training and fire between 20 and 40 rounds on the 25-metre barrack range.

From start to finish, the event was marked by the professionalism and enthusiasm that we have come to expect from RAFAC cadets. Every cadet conducted themselves with the respect and attention to detail that reflects the values of our organisation.

The day was made possible thanks to our dedicated shooting team, who once again gave up their weekend and invested many hours of preparation and administration to ensure the event ran smoothly.

Their efforts meant that every cadet had the chance to get on the range, and some even left with well-earned Blue and Bronze Marksmanship badges – a great recognition of their skills and focus.

Most importantly, safety remained at the heart of the day. Cadets were kept engaged and well looked after throughout, while gaining valuable experience that builds both competence and confidence with the L98 rifle.

Well spent ammo box

A huge thank you goes to the shooting staff and all involved for making this another successful and rewarding event. Days like these remind us of the opportunities available within the RAFAC and the dedication of those who work tirelessly behind the scenes to deliver them.
