The Thurston Air Cadets a part of the Royal Air Force Air Cadets (RAFAC), represent an exceptional youth program. Aimed at young individuals, year 8 and older aged 12 to 20, it offers a unique blend of aviation, adventure, and leadership training. With over 1,000 squadrons nationwide, the Air Cadets provide a platform for young people to explore their passion for aviation, develop essential life skills, and embrace a strong sense of community. Through a diverse range of activities, including flying, gliding, drill, and fieldcraft, the Air Cadets instil discipline, teamwork, and self-confidence, preparing the next generation for future challenges and opportunities in both military and civilian life.
